L-N Patrons & Community Members,
Please see the attached "Budget FAQ" document. This was created to help answer some questions about how the school budget is created, provide transparency and explain changes from previous years.
Because the district is participating in the Nuckolls County Joint Public Hearing, we will no longer be holding a hearing at the regularly scheduled board meeting next week.
Please reach out to Superintendent Josh Lynch (josh.lynch@lnraiders.org) with any other questions you may have.
This is your friendly reminder to turn in your MS/HS button pin orders as soon as possible.
But right now, it's the elementary's turn!
The L/N Journalism Staff is selling button pins for the elementary students playing midget football, volleyball, flag football, and basketball.
Order forms should be sent home soon with students 3rd-5th grades and 2nd grade flag football players.
Please return forms and money to the elementary office or Mrs. Haba by September 12th. Mrs. Haba will take pictures in the morning (before they go up to class) as orders roll in.
Pins are $7 each and will have each student's name on them. Siblings cannot be combined on one pin due to the available space on the pins.

JH Band Parents!
The JH Band will be playing Pep band this semester at the following games:
September 19th - Football
October 2nd - Varsity Volleyball
October 10th - Football
December 5th Varsity Girls and Boys Basketball.
I know there will be some conflicts with JH Football practice, but we can find a way to work around those! It is important for your students to attend pep band games so they can contribute to the band's overall sound! I am still working out how to get the instruments and music over to the football field in Lawrence, but will communicate more once it is figured out.
