The junior class (Class of 2027) is starting a Calendar Fundraiser to help them raise money for Prom and Graduation. Please consider supporting them by purchasing a day (or more) off their calendars.
Prizes:
--First Place: $400
--Second Place: $300
--Third Place: $200
--Fourth Place: $100
Rules:
--Each junior student is required to sell at least 16 days off of their calendar (but a whole calendar... or more... is preferred).
--Each day is worth it's number (Day 1 is $1, Day 16 is $16, Day 31 is $31, etc).
--That is also the number of entries you will have put into the cash prize drawing (Day 1 is 1 entry, Day 16 is 16 entires, Day 31 is 31 entries, etc).
--Four cash prizes will be drawn by a random name generator at the end of October.
--Calendar days will be sold from now (9/25/25) until October 23rd. Money and calendar packets must be turned in by the 23rd.
--Please make checks out to Lawrence/Nelson Schools with 2027 Calendar Fundraiser in the memo.

Firstly: Orders for button pins are officially closed as of noon today (9/25/25).
Secondly: Unfortunately, the students ran out of supplies to complete the rest of our pins while Mrs. Haba was gone last week. The staff has placed an order to replenish their supplies but are unsure of how quickly they will arrive. Please be patient with them, as they will finish up orders as soon as they receive what they need. The journalism staff apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
Again, thank you for your understanding and patience, as well as your support of the journalism staff and all that they do.

At Fillmore Central, we will play 2 sets of "C" team at 5:00 followed by JV and Varsity. They plan to use a rolling schedule, so please plan accordingly.
