ONE ACT PUBLIC PERFORMANCE, SUNDAY DECEMBER 1ST AT 7:00 PM!!

One Act is getting ready to put on a stellar performance for everyone this Sunday, 12/1, at 7:00 p.m. at the high school! Admission is free and our run time is approximately 30 minutes - bring your friends and family to support these students!

HOLIDAY SEASON ELVES AVAILABLE!!

The Elementary put on their own Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade! The students and teachers got creative with their balloons and had fun showing them off. We wish everyone a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!









November is Epilepsy Awareness Month. A student at Lawrence/Nelson Elementary fights with epilepsy. To shed light on him as well as others battling with this, our students wore purple or a Toy Story themed shirt today. We also had high school students come do face paint to help spread awareness!

The Raider One Act team brought home some individual awards after placing 5th at TVC competition today! Valentina Koehler, Keygan Myers, and Maya Fanning all received an Honorable Mention Acting Award, and Maya Fanning received the award of Best Supporting Actress out of all ten teams!

ACTIVITIES FOR THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 21ST

Congratulations to Kallen Faimon, a fifth grader, for getting third place in Nebraska's American Water Works Association poster contest!! There were over 170 entries from across the state and the posters were voted on by attendees who went to one of their conferences.

Mrs. Haba would like to officially apologize to the parents and students of the Class of 2024. She completely forgot to send out the graduation pictures from last year and feels terribly bad about it. Cassy Himmelberg, co-owner of The Corner Nook, talked to the Intro to Business class about becoming an entrepreneur, the many challenges and rewards!!

ACTIVITIES FOR TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 19TH


The juniors helped deliver the 1,487 items to the Nuckolls County Food Pantry that were collected during the National Honor Society's annual Thanksgiving food drive. While there, they helped sort through items and stock shelves. It was great way to help the community!




ACTIVITIES FOR MONDAY, NOVEMBER 18TH


Twenty-eight LN FFA members travelled to Kearney on Wed. Nov. 13 for District 6 Fall CDEs. Students competed in livestock evaluation, poultry evaluation, and floriculture. The floriculture team of Vali Koehler, Cassidy Huston, Paige Huston, and Josie Hajny earned 8th place out of 19th teams. The junior division livestock eval team of Maddy Laughlin, Kimber Buescher, Kali Cassell, and Parker Ostdiek earned 6th overall. Out of 197 students, they earned 3rd, 13, 16, and 130th, respectively. Gus Harrison led the senior team with a finish of 28 out of 84. The poultry evaluation team of Jackson Williams, Natalie Jacobitz, Owen Smiley and Maddi Kennedy earned 6th out of 19 teams. Congrats to our Fall CDE competitors!
