The Elementary students will be starting the Winter MAP assessments this month. This is a Measure of Academic Progress, a computer-adaptive test that measures student growth in reading, math, language, and science to pinpoint individual strengths and areas for growth throughout the year. Please talk with your child about the importance of taking their time, doing their best, being well rested, and having a balanced breakfast.

Congratulations to junior Tiffany Gonzalez-Gamez!
Tiffany entered three pieces of her artwork into the "Emerging Visions" juried student art show hosted by Hastings College, and all three pieces were chosen to be exhibited. Artwork included in the show is eligible for amazing scholarship awards, including the Jackson Scholars program (full ride) and art specialty scholarships (up to $9,000). We are so excited to celebrate Tiffany's hard work and dedication to art.
The show is exhibited in the Jackson Dinsdale Art Center on the Hastings College Campus and runs from November 14th to December 13th, with a closing reception and awards ceremony on the final day. The closing reception will be held from 2-4 on Saturday, December 13th, with the awards ceremony at 3 pm. Please take time to come and enjoy the show and help cheer on Tiffany!
