On November 22nd, English 9 wrapped up Unit 3, Crime Scenes, by visiting the Grand Island Central Community College's Hornady Crime House. Students learned how to take fingerprints and process crime scenes at the crime house. Watch out as several of them are really good at pulling fingerprints off of items! Students also toured the campus.

November is Epilepsy Awareness Month. A student at Lawrence/Nelson Elementary fights with epilepsy. To shed light on him as well as others battling with this, our students wore purple or a Toy Story themed shirt today. We also had high school students come do face paint to help spread awareness!

Mrs. Haba would like to officially apologize to the parents and students of the Class of 2024. She completely forgot to send out the graduation pictures from last year and feels terribly bad about it. She asks that you please accept her apology and a link to the pictures from last year's graduation ceremony. Please reach out to her (kylee.haba@lnraiders.org) if you have any questions or issues with the link, and also share/ tag other parents and students in this post. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1EL12hOTT526tCtEk6Wzis75LiBQnYuSL?usp=sharing
